Pharmaceutical Industry & Microbiology Summer School


The University of Manchester are holding a summer school relating to Pharmaceutical Industry Advanced Training. The school includes a strong pharmaceutical microbiology element.

The course brief states: "This three day summer school offers those working or who are looking to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry the opportunity to learn from those practising at a high level in
this area of practice, with specialists in many areas including Clinical Trials, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmaceutical Microbiology at hand."

The subject areas include: pharmaceutical water systems, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical microbiology, sterility assurance, compounding, antibiotic sensitivity testing, pharmaceutical engineering, global regulatory drug submissions.

Expert presenters include: Justin Wiedemann from Astra Zeneca, Tim Sandle from the Blood Products Laboratory, Stewart Green with David Begg Associates, Jane Nicholson, expert in regulatory affairs, Brian Nesbit, Andy McBain and many more.

The event starts at 9am on Friday 28th June and finishes at 3pm on Sunday 30th June 2013. The school fee is £500 per person.

The event is at the Manchester Conference Centre, Sackville Street, Manchester, close by to
Piccadilly rail station.
