Steam
sterilization is a critical process in the pharmaceutical and related
industries. Modern autoclaves are computer-controlled and reliably provide a
defined sterilization cycle. This paper considers some of the potential causes
for wet loads and addresses some of the measures that can be taken to address
occurrences.
In
relation to this, Tim Sandle has written a paper on some of the causes and
corrective actions for autoclave wet load issues.
