An
article by Popovska et al has been published by the Macedonian Journal of
Medical Sciences. The article presents the experience of laboratorians in the
Microbiology Department in the Clinical Center in Skopje in promoting proper
hand hygiene by participating in a training course and implementation of WHO
guidelines among laboratory staff. The article examines different types of
microbiological monitoring to assess hand hygiene.
