SCREEN United Kingdom Cargo Theft Report Q3 2017

BSI and the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) have come together to develop a robust report to provide increased visibility into cargo theft threats across the United Kingdom. BSI recorded a total of 296 cargo theft incidents in the United Kingdom during the third quarter of 2017, with nearly 63% of them involving the slash-and-grab tactic and 18% involving theft from hard-sided trucks.
